DHAKA, April 29, 2019 (BSS) – The election board of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) today announced Sheikh Fazle Fahim as the president of its Board of Directors for 2019-2021 tenure.
M Muntakim Ashraf has been elected the first vice-president while Hasina Newaz as the vice-president of the apex trade body.
Sheikh Fazle Fahim nominated by Sammilita Babosahi Parishad panel. Earlier, he was the first vice-president of the apex body.
Professor Ali Ashraf, MP, chairman of the election board, announced the result at the FBCCI boardroom. Earlier, the election board of FBCCI conducted the election of the office bearers of the trade organisation.
During the announcement of result, Former FBCCI President and Private Industry and Investment Adviser to the Prime Minister, Salman Fazlur Rahman, among others, was present.
