DHAKA, April 29, 2019 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today cordoned
off a tin-shed building in Bosila Metro Housing Project area of Mohammadpur
here suspecting it a militant hideout.
“A team of RAB-2 surrounded the house in Bosila Metro Housing Project in
city’s Mohammadpur area at about 3:30 am responding to a secret information
about the presence of suspected militants there,” RAB’S Legal and Media Wing
Director Mufti Mahmud Khan told BSS this morning.
RAB’s specialized team, including bomb disposal unit and dog squad, in the
meantime rushed to the spot, he said.
RAB already detained two caretakers of the housing for interrogation.
“They are preparing to conduct the drive inside the house within very
shortest possible time,” said another RAB official present at the spot.
