PM mourns death of Anjum Nahar
DHAKA, April 27, 2019 (BSS) – Awami League President and Prime Minister
Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Syeda Anjum
Nahar, mother of central executive committee member of Awami League Iqbal
Hossain Apu, MP.
In a condolence message today, the Prime Minister prayed for eternal peace
of the departed soul of Syeda Anjum Nahar and conveyed sympathy to the
members of the bereaved family.
Syeda Anjum Nahar died at the city’s Bangladesh Medical College Hospital
at the age of 77.
She left behind one son, four daughters and a host of relatives and well-
wishers to mourn her death.
