Faisal emerges champion in Elegant Rapid Rating Chess
DHAKA, April 27, 2019 (BSS)- Faisal Hossain emerged champion in the Elegant
Uttara 13th Fide Rapid Rating Chess competition on Saturday at Elegant
International Chess Academy in the city’s Uttara.
Masum Hossain became runners-up in the tournament while Abu Lais Ansari, M
Nesar Uddin, and Jewel Khan finished at third, fourth and fifth places
respectively.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police ASP and Bangladesh Chess Players Association
acting president M Asaduzzaman was the chief guest on the closing day of the
meet and distributed the prizes.
Elegant International Chess Academy’s managing director Mahamuda Moli
presided over the closing ceremony.
