Rohingya youth shot dead in Teknaf
COX’S BAZAR, April 26, 2019 (BSS) – A Rohingya youth was shot dead by a
group of unidentified miscreants at Alikhali refugee camp in Teknaf upazila
of the district today.
The deceased was identified as Osi Ullah, 30, a refugee at the camp in
Hrila area.
He got shelter at the camp after he fled to Bangladesh on 25 August,
2017.
Local police said Osi Ullah was shot when he tried to save his brother
Abdul Bashet from a group of terrorists at the camp last night. He was taken
to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital at first and later on referred to Chattogram.
He died on the way to Chattogram Medical College Hospital morning today.
