National Carrom championship begins tomorrow
DHAKA, April 24, 2019 (BSS) – The 8th National Carrom championship begins tomorrow (Thursday) at National Sports Council gymnasium in the city.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell MP is expected to inaugurate the four-day meet as the chief guest.
Near about 200 men’s and women’s players are expected to take part in the meet, organized by Bangladesh Carrom Federation.
Among them 100 are well standard players while 50 are ranking holder super players. The competition includes singles, doubles and mixed doubles events.
The champions, runners-up and third place finishers will have prize money and trophy.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Wednesday at Bangladesh Carrom Federation office room to provide all the details of the meet.
