Woman held with 2,900 Yaba tablets in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, April 20, 2019 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in
an anti-crime drive arrested an alleged female drug trader with 2,900 pieces
of banned Yaba tablets in the city last night.
RAB sources said the arrested woman was identified as Aziza Akter alias
Poly, 21, daughter of Mahtab Ali of Kakonhat area under Godagari Upazila in
the district.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a sudden raid at
Talaimari area under Motiher Police Station around 8:45 pm and arrested Poly
with 2,900 pieces of Yaba tablets.
The sources said the arrested woman was involved in Yaba trading and
trafficking for long.
Later, the arrested woman along with the seized Yaba was handed over to the
police with a case today, RAB said.
