Man killed in Jamalpur road accident
JAMALPUR, April 19, 2019 (BSS) – A man was killed as a truck hit him in Islampur Upazila in the district this afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Abu Bakkar, 65, resident at the village Palbandha in the Upazila.
Police said the accident occurred in Dharmakura Bazar area. Local people took him at Islampur Health Complex where the attending doctor declared him dead.
Police also said the driver of the truck managed to flee with the truck after accident.
