European stocks drop at open
LONDON, April 18, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – Europe’s main stock markets fell at the
start of trading on Thursday, with London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.1
percent at 7,462.61 points.
In the eurozone the Frankfurt DAX 30 shed 0.2 percent to 12,138.14 points
and the Paris CAC 40 lost 0.3 percent to 5,548.66 compared with Wednesday’s
closing levels.
