Pompeo: US law on Cuba property lawsuits to take effect May 2
WASHINGTON, April 17, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – A US law allowing lawsuits over
property seized by Cuba will take effect May 2 after two decades of waivers
and despite EU warnings, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Wednesday.
“Any person or company doing business in Cuba should heed this
announcement,” Pompeo told reporters.
