Indian envoy calls on Mahbub

DHAKA, April 16, 2019 (BSS) – Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Riva Ganguly today called on State Minister for Aviation and Tourism M Mahbub Ali at his secretariat office here.

During the meeting, they discussed various matters related to bilateral issues and mutual interest.

The state minister said the relations between Bangladesh and India are deep rooted and airlines of both countries can further increase people to people contacts.

Ali hoped that the aviation and tourism sector will be one of the major tools to further strengthen the existing excellence friendly relations between the two nations in the days to come.

The Indian envoy said the bilateral relations between Delhi and Dhaka reached new heights in the last one decade and India is keen to extend its all cooperation to Bangladesh’s aviation and tourism sector.

Civil Aviation and Tourism Secretary Mohibul Haque was also present.
