RAJSHAHI, April 16, 2019 (BSS) – Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) has launched a fortnight-long holding tax collection programme aims at infusing dynamism in it’s tax collection system.
On the occasion, RCC councilors accompanied by its officials and employees brought out a colourful rally from the City Bhaban premises this morning.
Parading some of the city streets the rally was culminated into a meeting held at the City Bhaban premises.
Panel Mayor Rajab Ali, ward councilors Nizam-Ul-Azim, Ruhul Amin and Abdul Momin, Chief Revenue Officer Shahan Akhter Jahan and Chief Health Officer Dr AFM Anzuman Ara Begum, among others, addressed the meeting.
The speakers urged the city dwellers to pay holding and other taxes in due time for successful implementation of the development programmes.
