Hong Kong stocks down in early trade
HONG KONG, April 16, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks opened with fresh
losses Tuesday morning tracking a negative lead from Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.19 percent, or 56.42 points, to 29,754.30.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.42 percent, or 13.39 points,
to 3,164.40 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s
second exchange, shed 0.58 percent, or 10.01 points, to 1,713.90.
