ICMAB delegation meets Commerce Secretary
DHAKA, April 16, 2019 (BSS) – A delegation of the Institute of Cost and
Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), headed by its President M. Abul
Kalam Mazumdar, called on Commerce Secretary Md Mofizul Islam today at his
office.
During the meeting, ICMAB President apprised the Secretary about the
overall affairs of the Institute and particularly about the development
issues of CMA profession, said a press release.
Kalam also sought help of the Secretary for further development of
ICMAB.
The Commerce Secretary highly appreciated the role of the CMAs in the
economic development of the country and assured to provide full co-operation
for the development of CMA profession.
Former ICMAB President Arif Khan, ICMAB Secretary Md Abdur Rahman Khan,
Executive Director Md Mahbub Ul Alam and Additional Secretary of the Ministry
of Commerce Begum Shamima Yeasmin, were present, among others, in the
meeting.
