Bangladesh respects other language, culture: Khalid
DHAKA, April 12, 2019 (BSS) – State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury today said Bangladesh attaches value to other language and culture since it owns a rich heritage, language and culture.
“Bangladesh shows honor to other language and culture as it owns a rich tradition, language and culture,” he told a discussion and cultural program on ‘Irani Nowruz, Iranian New Year and Bangla Nababarsha’.
Iranian Cultural Centre in Dhaka and Bangladesh Shilpokala Academy organized the program at Shilpokala Academy here.
With Director General of Shilpokala Academy Liaquat Ali Lucky in the chair, visiting Iranian Professor Dr. Kajem Kahduee, renowned Director Mamunur Rashid and Councilor at Iranian Cultural Centre Dr. Mahdi Hossaini Fayek spoke on the occasion.
