Rangpur, Barisal, Rajshahi Div. post win in Development Cup Football
DHAKA, April 12, 2019 (BSS)-Rangpur, Barisal and Rajshahi Divisions won
their respective matches of the sixth edition of Development Cup Football
tournament (U-15) held on Friday at Dhaka Govt. Physical Education College in
the city’s Mohammadpur.
In the day’s match, Ranpur Division confirmed their last four spot as they
beat Mymensingh Division by 6-5 goals in penalty shootout after the
regulation time ended in a goalless draw.
In the day’s other two matches, Barisal Division edged past Khulna
Division by a solitary goal scored by Mahfuz while Rajshahi Division defeated
defending champions Sylhet Division also by a lone goal scored by Shamim.
Meanwhile, both the semifinals of the tournaments will be held tomorrow
(Saturday) at the same venue.
