Noakhali journalist Hanif passes away
DHAKA, April 12, 2019 (BSS) – Noakhali district unit president of Bangladesh Mofassal Sangbadik Forum (BMSF) and Daily Jugantor Noakhali staff reporter Md Hanif died of cardiac arrest in a hospital in Noakhali at 7am today.
He was 62, family sources said.
His wife Razia Sultana said as Hanif fell sick after the Fajr prayer today he was rushed to a hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.
He left behind wife, two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
Hanif’s namaz-e-janaza was held after Jummah prayers at Maijdee residential area in Noakhali.
Later, he will be buried at his family graveyard at his ancestral home Karmullahpur in Noakhali today.
From Singapore, Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock at the death of Hanif.
In a message of condolence, the minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
