Kishorganj district emerge champions in Inter-District Women’s Kabaddi
DHAKA, April 11, 2019 (BSS)- Kishorganj district emerged champions in the Inter-District U-15 Women’s Kabaddi competition beating Rangamati district by 26-22 points in the exciting final held on Thursday at Dhanmondi Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in the city.
Farjana Akter Ria of the champions’ team was named the best player of the competition.
Parliament Member Rumana Ali was the chief guest on the closing ceremony of the competition and distributed the prizes.
Bangladesh Women’s Sports Association senior vice president Anjuman Ara Aksir presided over the closing ceremony.
A total of 228 players from 19 district teams from across the country took part in the two-day meet, organized by Bangladesh Women’s Sports Association (BWSA).
