Two held with 5 lakh Yaba tablets in Patuakhali
PATUAKHALI, April 10, 2019 (BSS) – Members of Coast Guard in a drive
arrested two alleged drug peddler with five lakh pieces of yaba tablets from
Bay of Bengal near Rabnabad channel of Paira Sea Port on Tuesday evening, a
Coast Guard press release said here today.
The arrested persons are Mosharaf Hossain, a resident of Chakamoiya
village and Tipu Shikder of Mohipur village under Kalapara upazila of the
district.
Being informed, Coast Guard team conducted the drive in the area and
arrested the duo with the yaba tablets, the release said.
Sensing the presence of law enforcers others managed to flee away.
