World Homeopathy Day tomorrow
DHAKA, April 9, 2019 (BSS) – The World Homeopathy Day will be celebrated
tomorrow in the country like every year in memory of Dr Samuel Hahnemann, the
founder of Homeopathy System of Medicine.
To mark the day, Bangladesh Homeopathy Board and other organisations and
Homeo Colleges across the country has taken elaborate programmes including
cutting of cake, discussion and prize giving ceremony.
Bangladesh Homeopathy Board will organise a discussion at the Institution
of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) auditorium in the city’s Kakrail area tomorrow
at 3 pm.
Health Minister Jahid Malek will be present there as the chief guest while
Chairman of Bangladesh Homeopathy Board Dr Dilip Kumar Roy will preside over
it.
Among others, Health Education Department Secreatary GM Saleh Uddin and
Dhaka South City Awami League General Secretary Shahe Alam Murad will also
attend it.
The world celebrates the day since April 10 in 2003 and Bangladesh has
been celebrating the day since 2014.
The day is Samuel Hahnemann’s birthday. People celebrated the day as a
tribute to Samuel.
