Rebeka Mohiuddin’s 80th birth anniversary tomorrow
DHAKA, April 9, 2019 (BSS) – The 80th birth anniversary of late Rebeka Mohiuddin, one of the organisers of the Liberation War and a woman rights activist will be celebrated tomorrow (Wednesday) with full due honour, according to her family’s press release here today.
On occasion of her birth anniversary, different programs have been arranged at Mothbaria in Pirojpur and Lakarta of Shariatpur.
A special prayer will be offered and flower will be placed seeking peace of her soul at Mirpur Shaheed intellectual graveyard at 10.30 am.
Besides, a discussion and memorial meeting will be held in memory of the late Rebeka Mohiuddin in Dhaka. All her relative and well wishers are expected to take part in the coveted program.
Rebeka Mohiuddin, wife of language fighter and former Awami League acting president Mohiuddin Ahmed, was born on April 10, 1939 in Faridpur.
