President mourns death of ex-agriculture minister Abdul Aziz
DHAKA, April 8, 2019 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today condoled the death of Sheikh Abdul Aziz, agriculture minister of the Bangabandhu’s cabinet.
In a condolence message, the head of the state expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Abdul Aziz, close associate of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
President Hamid recalled the contribution of Sheikh Abdul Aziz to the 1971 liberation war and country’s politics.
The President prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
