DHAKA, April 08, 2019 (BSS) – South Korean companies are interested to invest in different sectors of Bangladesh, said South Korean Ambassador in Dhaka Hu Kang-il.
“Samsung, SK, Hyundai and few others companies are eager to invest here, and their delegations would visit Bangladesh and discuss regarding businesses and others related issues,” he added.
The envoy revealed it during a view exchange meeting with Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Executive Chairman Kazi Md Aminul Islam and also sought BIDA’s cooperation to this end, said a press release today.
Aminul placed a proposal to the envoy to establish a separate economic zone for South Korea and said they would provide one acre of land for it.
