DHAKA, April 08, 2019 (BSS)- Joynal Abedin, an information cadre officer of BCS 84 batch, has been appointed as the Principal Information Officer (PIO) to the Press Information Department (PID).
The Ministry of Information today issued a notification in this regard, a PID handout said today.
Previously, Joynal served as the Press Secretary to President Md Abdul Hamid.
During his long career, he served in different capacities. He was additional chief information officer of PID and the director (public relations) of the Jatiya Sangsad secretariat.
