5-day Advancing Digital Bangladesh 2019 begins
DHAKA, April 7, 2019 (BSS) – Information and communication technology
solutions provider, Huawei organized a five day event dubbed “Advancing
Digital Bangladesh, 2019” that began today at its Customer Solution
Innovation and Integration Experience Center (CSIC) in city’s Gulshan area.
With the aim of showcasing cutting edge technological innovation and
foster adequate preparation, this event is designed especially for industry
stakeholders so that the industry as well as Bangladesh move ahead and
embrace next technological revolution, said a press release today.
The event is emphasizing on the significant possibilities of 5G for
Bangladesh and around the globe. It will also focus how Bangladesh can launch
5G by 2021 and join the world in Industry 4.0 revolution.
Jerry Wang, CTO of Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Limited said, “5G is
ON for the world, for Bangladesh. We are working here to bring digital to
every person, home and organization for a fully connected, intelligent
Bangladesh.”

partners as well as whole industry can have a good concept and equip them for
a better tomorrow,” he added.
Through this event, Huawei will showcase potential socio-economic
benefits of Global Digital Transformation, illustrate how 5G will reshape the
value chain with impact on all spheres, operators’ expectations, 5G
capabilities, Usage Scenarios and many more.
“We have already demonstrated 5G in Bangladesh last year and now we want
to show that we are ready for the future,” added Jerry Wang.
