Death anniversary of Hazrat Dayem (R) observed
DHAKA, April 7, 2019 (BSS) – The 216th death anniversary of Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Mohammad Dayem (R), the founder of Azimpur Dayera Sharif Khankah, was observed on the Dayera Sharif premises here today.
On the occasion, Qurankhwani, Salatul Ajker, Fateha Khani, Zikir, milad mahfil and discussion on the life and works of spiritual leader Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Mohammad Dayem (R) were held, a press release said.
A large number of followers were present on the occasion.
Alhaj Hafez Md Belayet Hossain, Alhaj Dr Enamul Haque, Alhaj Maulana Abdul Mannan and Maulana Shahidul Islam spoke at the programme.
Alhaj Hazrat Maulana Shah Sufi Syed Ahmed Ullah Zubair (MA) led the concluding prayers seeking divine blessings for peace and prosperity of the country and greater unity of the Muslim Ummah.
Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Mohammad Dayem (R) was one of the most prominent Sufi Saints of his time. He came into the lime light in the eighteenth century.
