Khalid condoles death of housing minister’s father
DHAKA, April 7, 2019 (BSS)-State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Freedom Fighter Abdul Khaleq Sheikh, father of Housing and Public Works Minister SM Rezaul Karim.
In a message of condolence, the state minister said the country has lost a valiant freedom fighter in his death.
He also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Abdul Khaleq died of old-age complications around 7.20am today while undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) here at the age of 90.
