Three district council members take oath
DHAKA, April 7, 2019 (BSS) – Three newly elected district council members
of Munshiganj, Kurigram and Sirajganj took oath of the offices at LGRD and
Cooperatives Ministry here today.
The LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Md Tazul Islam administrated the oath
to Md Mehedi Hasan elected from 7 No. ward of Munshiganj district, Md Abdul
Baten from 12 No. ward of Kurigram and Shefali Khan from 13 No. ward of
Sirajganj at his office in the city, said an official release.
Conducted by Local Government Division Senior Secretary SM Ghulam
Farooque, the oath taking ceremony was attended, among others, by State
Minister for LGRD Swapan Bhattacharjee and additional secretaries of the
ministry Aminul Islam Khan and Roksana Quader.
