Army chief visits COORES 2019 in Singapore
DHAKA, April 5, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed visited the concluding activities of joint disaster management exercise ‘COORES 2019’ in Singapore on Thursday.
The Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief of Bangladesh and Armed Forces Division jointly organised the exercise with Regional Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response Coordination Centre (RHCC), which started on April 1, said a press release here today.
A total of 25 countries and 15 international non-government organisations (NGOs) took part in the exercise.
A total of 41 AFD members participated there.
The army chief also paid a courtesy visit on the Chief of Defense Forces Lieutenant General of Singapore Melvyn Ong.
During the visit, they discussed strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries.
