1st day of HSC exams passes off peacefully in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, April 1, 2019 (BSS)-The first day of the Higher Secondary
Certificate (HSC) examination under Chattogram Education Board (CEB) passed
off peacefully today.
Board sources said a total of 82,884 students out of 83,868 participated
in the examination from 260 colleges through 103 centers.
A total of 983 students were absent in the first day’s Bangla first paper
exam here today. A student was expelled from Chattogram Model School and
College under Biyazid thana in the city.
A total of 70 vigilance teams consisting of teachers and magistrates
visited different centers.
CEB controller, Mahbub Hasan told BSS that the first day of examination
passed peacefully free from unfair practices as the authorities adopted all
possible options in preparation process to continue the recent year’s trend
of peaceful examination.
