CHATTOGRAM, March 31, 2019 (BSS) – Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni today called for pursuing research friendly education curriculum in the universities of the country.
She made the call while speaking at a views exchange meeting with the teachers of Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Science University (CVASU) as chief guest.
CVASU Vice-chancellor Prof. Dr. Goutam Buddha Das presided over the function while Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel attended it as special guest.
The education minister urged the teachers to remain alert so that the main objectives of the university, including research and higher studies, cannot get spoiled in the name of politics.
She directed the CVASU authorities to maintain education friendly environment on the campus for sustaining friendly relations between teachers and students.
The minister said students from different foreign countries, including Malaysia, are studying in CVASU and the students are also visiting foreign varsities. Deputy Minister Nowfel urged the teachers and students to remain alert against any sorts of ill politics on the campus.
Earlier Education Minister Dr. Moni visited the CVASU campus, anatomy museum, fish museum and laboratory and expressed satisfaction over the ongoing research activities of the university.
