Nowfel for developing skilled entrepreneurs to attract investment

CHATTOGRAM, Mar 30, 2019 (BSS) – Deputy Minister for Education Barrister
Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel today said the country needs to develop
skilled entrepreneurs to attract more investment in the country.

“Entrepreneurs and investors should have clear knowledge about stock
market investment to attain maximum profit from it,” he said while addressing
the entrepreneurs and investors conference held at International Conference
centre in the port city this afternoon.

Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) arranged the
Investor’s conference to create awareness among investors about stock market
investment.

The minister laid emphasis on educating general investors, students and
young generations about importance of money in human life, savings, benefits
of safer institutional investments to reduce risks of investments. He said
there is no alternative to knowledge-based investment.

The present government is determined to ensure good governance in the
capital market. The capital market has become more stable during the tenure
of the present government due to the government’s sincere efforts.

Nowfel hoped that BSEC’s conference would play an important role in
educating the investors and boosting their confidence level.

BSEC chairman Dr. M Kairul Hossain presided over the function. BSEC
Commissioner Professor Mohammad Helal Uddin Nizami, Dr Swapan Kumar;
Khondakar Kamruzzaman, among others, addressed the function.

Senior officers, teachers, students and investors of capital market
attended the conference.
