Singer Khurshid Alam shifted to Dhaka
BOGRA, March 30, 2019 (BSS) – Noted singer and Ekushey Padak recipient Khurshid Alam, who was injured critically in a road road accident here last night, was shifted to Dhaka for better treatment.
Doctors of Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital said Khurshid met the accident at Charmatha area on Dhaka-Bogra highway on his way to Mom-In-Hotel, five kilometer away from Bogra town last night.
A truck coming from opposite direction hit his care in the front side, police said adding that the private car carrying the singer was smashed completely injuring Khurshid in his head and face and mouth. However, Khurshid is now out of danger, director of the hospital Brigadier General Golam Rasul said.
Police is trying to arrest the truck driver, police said.
