Wings Uni Futsal set to begin Sunday in city
DHAKA, March 29, 2019 (BSS)- The second season of the ‘Wings Uni Futsal
powered by Hero’ has again came into the limelight with its thrilling Futsal
contest as the event is set to begin on Sunday (March 31) at Shaheed
Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium Mirpur, said a press release today.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell MP is expected to
inaugurate the five-day meet as the chief guest.
The biggest event of its kind in Bangladesh got even bigger this time with
32 renowned public and private universities nationwide. The event has been
organized by Wings Clear Lemon Drinks, a concern of Sajeeb Group along with
Hero Motorcycle, a concern of Niloy Motors and Walton, Bangladesh.
Thirty two universities will contest each other at group phase and 16 teams
will face each other in the round of sixteen. The quarter finals, semifinals
and final will be held on April 4.
The grand event will host 64 matches all together where the youth will
interact in a manner beyond expectation. The sport fest will foster
brotherhood among the youth and bring forth the importance of a team in
achieving a common goal. We, as a nation has so much to achieve and so much
to give that we need to unite ourselves with the common goal of making a
prosperous Bangladesh. T
The Wings Uni Fustsal powered by Hero anticipates to continue its journey
to achieve its purpose. ‘The Manager’ the management team of this tournament
