TAEKWONDO-INDEPENDENCE-DAY
Daylong Taekwondo held
DHAKA, March 29, 2019 (BSS)-The daylong Independence Day Taekwondo
competition held today (Friday) marking the Independence Day at Dhanmondi
Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex.
Rajshai district emerged team event champions while Chattogram district
finished runners-up in the event. A total of 250 participants from 11
districts took part the competition.
Earlier on the day, Youth and Sports Ministry’s acting Secretary Dr Jafar
Uddin Prodhan formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest, organized by
Bangladesh Women’s Sports Association. Bangladesh Handball Federation general
secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor was present as the special guest.
After the competition, Bangladesh Awami League Youth and Sports Affairs
Secretary Harunur Rashid distributed the prizes.
Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation vice president Ohiduzzaman Mujumder was
present as the special guest.
