DHAKA, March 28, 2019 (BSS) – Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malik today gave instructions to all the public and private hospitals authorities for providing free of cost emergency health care services to the fire victims who have been injured in the fire incident at FR tower in Banani in the city.
“Instructions have been given to all the public and private hospitals for providing quick health care services to the fire injured,” said an official close to the health and family welfare ministry to BSS. “All the cost will be borne by the government,” the official added.
The burn unit of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) has been kept ready, he said, adding that even the Kurmitola General Hospital also has been instructed to provide all the necessary health care services to the fire injured.
Health and Family Welfare Minister visited the spot immediately after receiving the news of fire incident and also supervised directly healthcare services being provided to the injured.
