Day-long Taekwondo meet to be held tomorrow
DHAKA, March 28, 2019 (BSS)-The day-long Independence Day Taekwondo competition for women will be held tomorrow (Friday) at Dhanmondi Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex marking the Independence Day.
Youth and Sports Ministry’s acting Secretary Dr Jafar Uddin Prodhan is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest, organized by Bangladesh Women’s Sports Association.
Bangladesh Handball Federation general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor will present as the special guest.
A total of 250 participants from 11 districts will compete in the competition.
Bangladesh Awami League Youth and Sports Affairs Secretary Harunur Rashid will distribute the prizes after the competition in the afternoon.
Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation president Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal will present as the special guest.
