Take steps to allow voters to come vote center without fear: CEC
FENI, March 28, 2019 (BSS) – Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda has
asked the officials to create at atmosphere so that voters can come to vote
centers without fear in the election of four upazilas of the district on
March 31.
The CEC gave the directives in a meeting with election officials of the
district at Feni circuit house here today.
Nurul Huda also asked the officials to ensure free, fair and neutral
election in the upazilas.
Election to the posts of chairman, vice chairman (male) and vice chairman
(female) will be held in Feni Sadar, Fulgazi, Sonagazi and Daganbhuiyan
upazilas on March 31.
Polls in the Chhagalnaiya Upazila remained suspended at the High Court
order while all candidates of the Parshuram Upazila were elected unopposed.
Returning officer, assistant returning officers, presiding and polling
officers as well as senior officials of the district and police
administration attended the meeting.
Votes in 127 center of Feni Sadar upazila will be take through EVM.
