36 Army and 10 Navy personnel get honorary promotion
DHAKA, March 25, 2019 (BSS)- Thirty-six army and 10 navy personnel have
been awarded honorary promotion and commission on the occasion of the
Independence and National Day, said an ISPR release here today.
A total of fourteen honorary lieutenants promoted to the rank of honorary
captain of the army. These officials are M Ferdous Mia (Artillery), M Asadul
Haq (Artillery), M Alamgir Hossen Molla (Engineers), M Emdadul Haq (Signals),
M Akkas Ali (Signals), M Rafiqul Islam(East Bengal), M Kawsarul Alam (East
Bengal), M Asaduzzaman (BIR), M Zakir Hossen Bhuiyan(BIR), HM Nurul Islam
(BIR), M Younus Ali (ASC), M Ramiz Uddin (EME), M Ansar Ali (AEC) and M
Shamsul Alam Khan (AMC).
Twenty-two junior commissioned officers of the Bangladesh Army who got
commission in the rank of honorary lieutenant are Master Warrant Officers M
Shahjalal (Artillery), M Ashraful Alam (Artillery), M Abdul Karim
(Artillery), M Abdur Razzak (Engineers), M Akkas Ali (Engineers), M Iyub Ali
(Engineers), Sheikh Abdul Mannan (Signals), Molla Abu Zafar(East Bengal), M
Mostafa Kamal (BIR), Iyub Ali (BIR), M Mozahar Ali (EME), M Jahangir
Alam(EME), M Moniruzzaman Mallick (EME), M Jahangir Alam(EME), M Nazrul Islam
(AEC), Aslam Uddin (ACC), SM Humayun Kabir (ACC), M Matiur Rahman (ACC), M
Abdus Salam (ACC), M Abdul Awal (ACC), M Saifur Rahman (ACC) and Master
Warrant Officer M Altaf Hossen Prodhan (ADC).
The Master Chief Petty Officers (MCPO) of the Bangladesh Navy who have been
granted honorary commission in the rank of Honorary Sub-Lieutenant. These
officials are Mohammad Nazrul Amin MCPO (COM), M Mizanur Rahman, MCPO
(X)(QRP-1), Mohammad Sarwar Jahan, MCPO(R), Mohammad Solaiman Ali Khan, MCPO
(E), Mohammad Abdus Selim Khan, MCPO (X)(GI), Alamgir Mohammad Mizanur
Rahman, MCPO (x)(PRI), Mohammad Johrul Islam, MCPO(X)(GA-1), Mohammad Abdul
Qiyum Mia, MCPO(S), Depak Kumar Biswas, MCPO(MED)(ICA) and Mohammad Sirajul
Islam, MCPO(CAT).
The honorary commission of the army and the Navy will be effective from
tomorrow (March 26), the release as saying quoting the gazette notification
issued by the Ministry of Defense.
