Two die in Ctg road accident
CHATTOGRAM, March 25, 2019 (BSS) – Two people, including a student of
Chattogram University (CU), were killed and another was injured in separate
road accidents in the port city.
The deceased were identified as Zarine Zahan, 21, daughter of Abu Kalam,
also a student of CU and bus helper Sakib Hossain, 18, son of Belal of Hatiya
upazila in Noakhali district.
Zarine received serious injury and her friend was injured when a private
car knocked a road divider after its driver lost control over the steering in
Patenga Boat club area around 11:30 pm last night, said Alauddin Talukdar,
sub-inspector of Chattogram Medical College and Hospital.
Zarine died on the spot while her friend Iftekhar Ahmed was taken to
Chittagong Medical College and Hospital.
In second accident, bus helper Sakib was killed as he fell off his bus
accidently in Chandgaon bus terminal area in the city around 9:30 pm on last
night.
