31 held in Satkhira
SATKHIRA, March 25, 2019 (BSS) – Police, in special drives arrested 31
persons from eight upazilas of the district in last 12-hour ending at 8am
this morning.
Sources with the district police said they were picked up from different
areas of the district.
During the drives, Satkhira Sadar police arrested 10 persons, Kalaroa Thana
police arrested three persons, Tala Thana police arrested two persons,
Kaliganj Thana police arrested five persons, Shyamnagar Thana police arrested
two persons, Assasuni Thana police arrested four persons, Patkelghata Thana
police arrested three persons and Debhata police arrested two persons.
The arrested people are accused in several cases, including charges of
subversive activities, filed with different police stations in the district.
The arrested were sent to jail.
