Hong Kong stocks tumble at open

HONG KONG, March 25, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks tumbled more than
two percent in opening exchanges Monday as investors fret over the outlook
for the global economy.

The Hang Seng Index sank 2.10 percent, or 611.99 points, to 28,501.37.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 1.46 percent, or 45.35 points,
to 3,058.80 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s
second exchange, dropped 1.72 percent, or 29.32 points, to 1,671.62.
