Woman Peace and Security seminar by Bangladesh Armed Forces
DHAKA, MAR 24, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh armed Forces arranged a seminar titled ‘Woman Peace and Security’ today, at the Defense Services Command and Staff College in Mirpur Cantonment.
The seminar emphasized over a numerous topics – woman empowerment and security in the United Nations Security Council’s resolution 1325, Bangladesh Government’s activities and measures taken for the resolution, international participation, contribution and future plans of women in Bangladesh Police and Bangladesh Armed forces.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs, M Shahriar Alam, addressed as the chief guest the programme.
