BGB, Police win in Independence Day Handball competition
DHAKA, March 24, 2019 (BSS)- Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Bangladesh Police in male’s contest and while BJMC and Bangladesh Ansar Handball Club in female’s rivalry won their respective matches in the M A Hamid Independence Day Handball Competition at the MA Mansur Ali Handball Stadium today.
BGB beat Bangladesh Ansar by 40-20 goals in the tournament, organized by the Bangladesh Handball federation. The winners led the first half by 19-09 goals.
Bangladesh Police Handball Club edged Quantum Foundation past by 34-29 goals after a tough battle. The winners led the half narrowly with 17-14 goals.
In female’s competition, BJMC crushed Bangladesh Police Handball Club by 27-13 goals while they led the first half by 17-05 goals. Bangladesh Ansar recorded a crushing 46-06 goal over Quantum Foundation after leading the first half by 22-02 goals in the competition.
