Abdullah for zero tolerance to combat corruption in education sector
DHAKA, Mar 23, 2019 (BSS) – State Minister for Religious Affairs Sheikh
Mohammad Abdullah today said that the government is taking zero tolerance
policy in curbing corruption in the education sector.
“Educational institutions should avoid all sorts of corruption. Teachers
should play an important role in encouraging students to stand up against
corruption, he said while addressing as the chief guest at the Annual Prize
Giving ceremony of the sports and cultural activities of Banani Model School,
here.
He said the present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has set
an example by distributing over 35 crore free textbooks among the students.
Abdullah urged the teachers to continue their efforts in increasing the
quality of education.
