DHAKA, March 22, 2019 (BSS) – State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid here today said real pictures of the 1971 mass killing should be revealed for the impunity of the nation.
He was speaking as the chief guest at a seminar on Genocide-Repression and Mass Graves in the Liberation War’ at Kobi Shamsur Rahman Seminar Hall of Bangla Academy. The Research Centre for Genocide-Repression and Liberation War organized the seminar.
President of Genocide-Repression Archive and Museum Trust Professor Muntassir Mamoon chaired the function while Md Abu Hena Mostofa Kamal NDC and Trustee of the Museum Dr Md Mahbubur Rahman spoke.
Hailing the research centre, the minister said a building for Genocide-Repression Archive and Museum will be built at Khulna.
He unveiled 10 books on genocide index at the function.
