Baridhara Rajuk, Scholastica School bags Volleyball titles
DHAKA, March 21, 2019 (BSS)- Baridhara Rajuk School of boys’ section and Scholastica School of girls’ section clinched title of Dhaka Metropolis School Volleyball (boys and girls) competition held today (Thursday) at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium at Mirpur.
In the day’s boys’ section final, Baridhara Rajuk beat South Breeze School by 3-0 set while Scholastica School defeated BISC Nirjhor also by 3-0 set in the girls’ section final.
Besides, in the third place-deciding matches, Shaheed Bir Bikrom Ramijuddin Cantonment School of boys’ section and Green Herald of girls’ section finished third position beating Scholastica School by 3-0 and Uttara Girls’ school by 2-0 respectively.
Biplob Borua, Prime Minister’s special assistant and deputy office secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, was the chief guest in the finals and distributed the prizes.
Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) general secretary Ashikur Rahman Miku, BVF joint secretaries and others officials of BVF were present on the occasion.
