33 infantry division emerge champions in Army hockey meet
DHAKA, March 21, 2019 (BSS)- Thirty three infantry division emerged champions in the Bangladesh Army Hockey competition that concluded on Thursday at BKSP hockey turf in Savar.
Besides, twenty four infantry division finished runners-up in the meet.
Ahsan Habib solder of Thirty three infantry division was adjudged the best player of the competition while M Sohel Mia of fifty five infantry division was named the emerging player of the meet.
Nine infantry division major, area commander, Savar area and general officer commanding, M Akbar Hossain witnessed the closing ceremony as the chief guest and later distributed the prizes among the winners.
High officials of Bangladesh Army, all unit officer of Savar cantonment, junior commissioned officers and other infantry solders were present in the closing ceremony.
