School Volleyball finals tomorrow
DHAKA, March 20, 2019 (BSS)- Both the boys’ and girls’ section finals of the Dhaka Metropolis School Volleyball (boys and girls) competition will be held tomorrow (Thursday) at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium at Mirpur.
In the boys’ section, Baridhara Rajuk beat Ramij Uddin by 2-0 set in the first semi-final while Southbreeze Dhanmondi defeated Scholastica also by 2-0 set in the second semis to advance to the final.
In the girls’ section, Scholastica beat Green Herald by 2-0 set in the first semi-final while BISC Nirjhor outclassed Uttara Girls School by 2-0 set in the second semis to move into the final.
Meanwhile in the day’s boys’ section quarterfinal matches, Baridhara Rajuk beat Prithibir Alo by 2-0 set,
Southbreeze Dhanmondi outplayed South Point by 2-0 set, Ramij Uddin over powered Cambrian by 2-1 set while Scholastica got walkover against Southbreeze Uttara.
In the girls’ section quarterfinal matches, Green Herald beat BISC Mohakhali by 2-1 set, Scholastica outplayed SOS Harmon by 2-0 set, Uttara Girls School outclassed BAF Shaheen by 2-0 set and BISC Nirjhor got walkover against Southbridge Uttara.
