Cycling expedition team of Bangladesh Army leaves for India

DHAKA, March 18, 2019 (BSS) – A cycling expedition team of Bangladesh Army
left here today for India to participate in the third joint Bangladesh-India
expedition.

The 15-member cycling expedition team including officers, soldiers and
JCOs, reached Kuchbihar through Burimari border, an ISPR press release said.

The Bangladesh-India joint cycling expedition will be inaugurated on March
19, it added.

After four-day cycling expedition to India, the team of Bangladesh Army
will arrive in Bangladesh on March 22 and the cycling expedition will be held
for four days in Bangladesh. The joint cycling expedition will be concluded
through flag-in function.

The joint cycling expedition between Bangladesh and India has been held
since 2017 for strengthening the existing relationship of armies of the two
countries.

A total of 30 members of Bangladesh and India armies are participating in
the expedition.
